Unless otherwise stated, all text content on RUV Plex is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

The CC BY-SA 4.0 license is a balanced license that encourages the free sharing of knowledge while acknowledging the contributions of the original authors.

• Attribution (BY): You must give credit to the original authors and source
• ShareAlike (SA): You must apply the same license if you remix or modify the content
• Commercial use: Commercial use is permitted as long as you comply with CC BY-SA 4.0 terms
• Free redistribution: Anyone may copy and redistribute the content

Users who contribute content to RUV Plex retain copyright to their contributions. By contributing, you agree to the following:

• You grant a CC BY-SA 4.0 license to your contributed content
• Contributors retain copyright of their original work
• You understand that contributed content may be edited, modified, or redistributed by other users
• You warrant that your contributions do not infringe the copyright of others
• Contributors may withdraw their contributions at any time, but this will not affect copies already distributed

To reuse content from RUV Plex, the following conditions must be met:

Media files uploaded to RUV Plex (images, audio, video, etc.) may be subject to licenses different from text content.

• The license of each media file is shown on its description page
• Various free licenses are used, including Public Domain, CC0, CC BY, and CC BY-SA
• Media that qualify as fair use are marked separately
• When uploading media, you must clearly indicate the copyright status and license
• Uploading copyrighted media without permission is prohibited

RUV Plex complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and processes copyright infringement reports promptly.

RUV Plex recognizes fair use for purposes such as education, research, criticism, and news reporting.

• Content qualifying as fair use must be clearly marked
• The purpose and character of use (commercial vs. non-commercial educational)
• The nature of the copyrighted work
• The amount and substantiality of the portion used
• The effect on the potential market value of the copyrighted work

Fair use is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the four factors above. When fair use is uncertain, we recommend obtaining permission from the copyright owner.
